ONE SERVICE ONLY ON SEPTEMBER 12 - PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!!
On Sunday, September 12, we will hold one service in the gym at 10:30 a.m. (no Sunday School). Rev. Joe Mullen from Richards Memorial will preach and speak about the importance of missions and outreach as we look forward to our Great Day of Service on September 26. After the Worship Service we will be serving a Special Luncheon. Throughout the C.C. you will have the opportunity to sign up for a specific mission project of your choosing for the Great Day of Service (or sign up on-line at www.pbumc.net).
BLOOD DRIVE SCHEDULED FOR NEXT SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 - Look for the big Blood Mobile bus in front of the C.C. from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

MEMORIAL BRICK ORDER will be placed on September 13. Here is your chance to buy a memorial brick for a loved one. The cost is $50.00 and the order forms are available on-line or in the church office.
Perspectives On Prayer
Seeking to bring prayer to life and life to prayer
Join us for a time of faith, fellowship and food on Thursday, September 16 at 9:00 a.m. in the Community Center. There will be a discussion on prayer led by Dr. Darren McClellan followed by refreshments and getting to know each other. The next gathering will be on Thursday, October 21. To reserve your place or for more information about this new monthly event, call Jane Harper-Clark at (850) 454-4950.
DID you Miss the last Financial Peace class but wanted to attend? PBUMC is offering the opportunity again beginning September 27, 6:30 p.m. in the C.C. MOMS IN TOUCH - Join us on Wednesday mornings at 8:45 a.m. beginning September 22 in rooms 1118 & 1119, in the Children’s Wing of the Worship Center, as we lift up our children and schools in prayer. For further information contact Terri Winter at (850) 384-6197.
TUESDAY MORNING LADIES’ BIBLE STUDY will resume on September 14 at 9:30 a.m. in the C.C. The class will once again be taught by Peggy Briese.
We want your smile in our church directory! Appointments will be taken both before and after all three services through September 19. Photographers from Olan Mills will be taking photographs in the Sanctuary at the end of September/ beginning of October.
PRAYING WITH BEADS - Anyone interested in learning about using beads with prayer is invited to come to the prayer room any Tuesday in September from 9:45-12:00. These will be open informational sessions. Stop by for a few minutes or come spend a Tuesday morning. Prayer beads and the book Praying with Beads -- Daily Prayers for the Christian Year will be available.
GOOD NEWS!! Our upcoming Great Day of Service is starting to take shape as more and more projects are beginning to be identified throughout our community. As we continue to assess the needs of each project, we recognize the need for additional funds to support our mission for the day. Our goal is simple: to make as much impact as possible on this community with the love of Jesus Christ. We want to be a blessing! To this end, you will notice big blue tool boxes around campus. ANGEL FOOD UPDATE – Be sure to check out the new SEPTEMBER menus. In addition to the traditional Signature box for $31, there is the Bit O Blessing Box for $21 and a brand new Bountiful Blessing for $41. Menus copies are available in the lobby of the Community Center and in the hallway of the Worship Center. Please take one home and consider the ways you can take advantage of this great discount food program. Menus with photos are available online at www.angelfoodministries.com. We’ll have an in-person order day on Sept. 15 and don’t forget you can use the drop boxes anytime. There is one in the CC lobby and one in the Worship Center hallway.
