MISSION STATEMENT
Sharing The Love of Jesus
VISION STATEMENT
We believe that all people are valued, gifted and necessary to the fulfillment of our church's mission.
We believe that God has guided our church from its beginning to this day.
We believe that continuing on this path can best be served in the following ways:
Teach the gospel message by personal example, by sermon, by training and through ministries.
Maintain a church of supportive, loving relationships for all who enter our doors or encounter our membership.
Expand our property and facilities in a way that best serves existing or newly developing ministries.
Identify and stand against all evil that assaults any part of Gods creation using all spiritual means available.
Identify, nurture and encourage the use of spiritual gifts.
Seek and pray for innovative means of outreach to all, offering hope and encouragement in the secular world and providing path leading to salvation and the Christian life.
Recognize the precious creation that God has given us, and as the people of God, assume personal responsibility for its stewardship.
VALUE STATEMENT
As a body of Christ committed to prayer, we will rely on Gods guidance in all planning, execution, and evaluation of the ministries of this church. We will encourage our people to engage in regular prayer as a means of finding Gods plan for their individual lives.
As a body of Christ committed to stewardship, we will provide for the care of this house of God and work towards its being utilized to its maximum potential. We will endeavor to see Gods long-range picture for his church and make plans so that the programs and physical facility will meet this picture. We will make decisions for the church and for ourselves that will enhance the beauty and usefulness of this creation over which God has give us dominion.
As a body of Christ committed to spiritual growth, we will avail ourselves of the opportunities of worship, education, and fellowship that are needed to make our faith walk stronger. As a church body, we will help our people to identify, nurture, and use their own unique spiritual gifts. We will provide the means necessary for our people to pursue Gods calling on their lives.
As a body of Christ committed to sharing Gods love, we will foster the kind of relationships to our fellow human beings that make them feel loved and welcome in our doors or in our company. We will provide caring ministries for those in need, recognizing that there are many hurting people around us who need a caring touch. We will be Gods eyes as we see the needs, his ears as we hear the pain, and his hands and voice as we respond in the way he would respond if he walked the earth again.
As a body of Christ committed to service, we will provide for all our people the training and tools necessary for each to follow his/her special calling of Christ. We will recognize that every member of Gods kingdom is called to serve in a special way, and we will encourage each other in the pursuit of that calling.
As a body of Christ committed to outreach, we will continue our work from the end of our driveway onward. We will reach out with Gods love to our neighbors who live on our street, in our town, in our nation, or on the other side of this earth. We will recognize that we are all neighbors, whoever or wherever we may be.
