Our desire is for any ministry, group, or organization to have a positive experience that helps mold Christian Discipleship. The Community Center can host events from fifteen to three hundred people. Whether your needs are for business meetings, home owner associations, family reunions, wedding receptions or you would like to start a program like yoga, dance, art class, the Community Center has a room to accomodate.  The Community Center supports Vocational Empowerment, Department of Juvenile Justice, the High School Community Service Credit, and the Option 2 program.

The O. L. Ericson Class is comprised of prayerful, mature women who enjoy life and the study of God's Word.  We are an interactive and active group who strive to serve God, PBUMC, the community and support for each other.  Our lessons come from the Cokesbury Series of Adult Bible Studies.  We would like to encourage anyone interested to join us. Our new Fall Bible Study lessons will be "A Living Faith".

Caleb Class: Now studying Biblical history through exciting resources: videos, open discussion and the Word. See the lands and times that produced Jesus. Relate the actions of the prophets to today’s world. Walk where Jesus walked. Taste the Living Water.  A fresh start for fall ... try out the Caleb Class (adult Sunday School) and view the dynamic, inspiring and thought-provoking video series “That the World May Know” as it tours Biblical lands and explains historical, cultural, philosophical and theological aspects of Jesus’ time and their applications to today’s Christian living. Rotating facilitators coordinate lively discussion of this community-minded and active group. Each session is stand alone.

A delightful mix of ages, personalities and viewpoints, studying relevant Biblically based subject material with a combination of facilitator and video teaching. The Seekers are interactive and spontanious, and enjoy a lively discussion format, encouraging and emphasizing the importance of Christian service to the Church, greater community and world at large.

This day is an invitation to our congregation
and friends to go out into the community
and volunteer their time and talents on
various submitted community needs.
An annual event presented by the Women
of the Church where individuals each
decorate a table. Tickets are purchased
for the gourmet luncheon with
the Men of the Church as waiters.
 
A youth fundraiser that is an open invite
for community members to enter their
chili recipes in a contest for bragging rights
to the best chili on the key. There is a panel
of judges as well as crowd favorites.
Wednesday before Halloween
An event where community members
decorate their vehicle trunks
and pass out candy in a safe environment.
Activities such as best costume and
best car decoration, and a food booth
make this annual event great family fun.
