PBUMC's Redemption Store opened in February of 2011 and has proved itself to be a valuable and successful community outreach program for the church.
Proceeds from the store go directly to support the missions of Perdido Bay UMC and has provided help to numerous local community groups and individuals. The store has assisted fifteen families with clothing and household items, provided clothing to the homeless mission of Innerarity Point Baptist Church, supplied uniforms and school clothes to Warrington Middle School, helped with the Global Learning Academy and offered support for the Favor House of Northwest Florida (a shelter for victims of spousal abuse and their children).
The store provides free Bibles to children and adults who come to shop. Information about PBUMC, including worship services, is given to shoppers. A prayer box is available in the store with submitted prayers passed on to the Prayer Team for intercession.
